Creativity is about making connections

Creativity = the possibility of connection. We humans crave connection. It's critical for our well-being and health be it physical, psychological, social, emotional or spiritual.

Yet for Americans, because our culture is influenced so deeply by the white supremacy norm of individualism (h/t @okuntema's Characteristics of White Supremacy), connection is often thwarted.

Fortunately, creativity is one throughline back to ourselves and each other.
